Celebrate RVi's First Anniversary:A Year of Cross-Disciplinary Innovation

One year after its founding on 6/17 , RVi reflects on a journey defined by the integration of AI and photonics — tackling some of the industry's most complex and uncharted challenges.
On this day one year ago, RVi (Rayleigh Vision Intelligence) was founded with a clear mission: to explore how artificial intelligence can transform photonics manufacturing, and to accelerate the development of the silicon photonics ecosystem.
The name "RVi" pays tribute to Lord Rayleigh, a Nobel Laureate known for his groundbreaking work in wave theory, spanning optics, acoustics, and fluid mechanics. His scientific legacy represents the fearless pursuit of knowledge across disciplines — a spirit that continues to inspire our work today.
Over the past year, this cross-disciplinary mindset has shaped every aspect of our growth:
from early technical explorations in microLED mass transfer, to collaborative efforts in developing AI-enhanced photonics platforms, and participating in global exhibitions that connect us with industry leaders and visionaries.
Every discussion, every hypothesis, and every engineering breakthrough has brought us one step closer to redefining what’s possible in next-generation display and communication technologies.
As RVi steps into its second year, we remain committed to bold exploration, steady advancement, and delivering meaningful innovation to the photonics world.
We are ready.
